The combination of topographical and chemical stimuli controls adhesion and growth of human fibroblasts.
Intern. J. Art. Organs 36, 8 (2013), 551

A novel system mimicking topographical and chemical stimuli of the natural environment of tissue cells was designed using the nanosphere li- thography (NSL), an economic method to obtain nanostructures of varying size and distance, and the layer-by-layer (LbL) technique, a method to introduce chemical heterogeneity, to control adhesion and growth of cells.
